I'm a vascular surgeon with a vast experience in training and research around Europe in both cardiac (London, Milan, Lund, Rome) and vascular (Rome, Genoa) surgery.
At the outpatient clinic of Aava Itäkeskus I perform preliminary exams and request further tests for:
- claudication and other periferal arterial diseases
- varicose veins and other periferal vein insufficiencies Furthermore, I give expert opinion in other non-urgent vascular diseases, if necessary.
Open surgical or endovascular treatment of arterial diseases, in Finland, are treated by public health care and a referral to a hospital can be done for further evaluation, if needed.
