I work both as an occupational health physician and a general practitioner.

As part of a holistic approach to patient care, I am interested in understanding not only the immediate health concern but also the broader life context, stress factors, and challenges across the patient’s life course.

It is important for me to meet patients by listening to their stories. I have often found that by engaging deeply with a patient’s experience, the best outcomes can be achieved. I have a strong interest in psychiatry and psychology.

I am currently doing further specializing in addiction medicine.

Patient-centered care and holistic health are the most important aspects in my practice. I treat patients of all age whether your condition or worry is acute or chronic.

I am especially keen on skin cancer diagnostics and small procedures (eg. mole removals, wound care and treatment of abscess).

As a general practitioner I am especially interested in acute setting medicine as well as in certain neurological conditions such as migraine and restless legs syndrome. I have previously worked as a consultant physician of diabetes in primary care.

Currently I also work in the field of occupational medicine in Lääkärikeskus Aava. I work towards wholesome care taking an individual approach in each case.
