I work at Aava as a general practitioner and occupational health doctor. I am conducting doctoral research on weight and work ability at the University of Helsinki.

My areas of interest include weight management, and I utilize modern research data in my work. This means an empathetic, non-judgmental approach, where the treatment plan is tailored to the patient’s life situation.

I enjoy acute care work and provide general practitioner consultations at Aava. I treat conditions such as inflammations, sudden pain, and injuries. I perform various minor procedures in my consultations, such as removing skin lesions, draining abscesses, and closing wounds.

I manage diabetes, asthma, infectious diseases, as well as cardiovascular diseases at a general practitioner level.

I work as an occupational health physician and a specialist in general medicine at Aava.

My primary position is located in Lapland, where I have treated patients for years regardless of age or nationality.
