The work of an orthoptist involves examinations for strabismus surgeons and other ophthalmologists. It is especially important for me to make a good eyeglass prescription to all patients. This requires genuine interest in the patient and his / her vision. Strabismus can cause a variety of trouble, such as double images, shadows, reading problems, and problems with progressive lenses. Prism glasses, eye excercises or surgery may help.
