I examine and treat a wide range of infectious diseases and general internal medicine conditions. I have particular expertise in travelers’ infections, tropical diseases, parasitic diseases, and vaccinations. I have extensive experience in treating complex infections at the infectious diseases unit of HUS.
You can book an appointment with me, for example, if you:
- need vaccinations or malaria prophylaxis before traveling abroad
- have symptoms of infection after returning from a trip
- have prolonged fever or recurrent infections
- suspect an immunodeficiency
- need diagnostics and treatment for a parasite infection
- suspect Lyme disease
- need a medical certificate, for example for an exchange study program

- Appointments are also available remotely. Remote consultations take place by phone at the time you have booked. You can book a remote appointment either through customer service (tel. +358 10 380 3838) or via online booking.
- I see travelers of all ages, both before departure and after returning.
- A separate (consecutive) appointment should be booked for each traveler.
- You can choose the appropriate appointment length according to your needs:
20 minutes: short travel consultation, malaria prophylaxis, or a single vaccination
30 or 45 minutes: infectious diseases consultation or a comprehensive travel medicine consultation including multiple vaccinations
