Emergency care (Aava Kamppi, Helsinki)
Aava Kamppi’s emergency unit provides fast and flexible treatment. Laboratory and X ray services are also provided during the emergency unit’s opening hours. Our emergency team consists of nurses and doctors who are specialised in emergency medicine.
When should you come to the emergency unit?
Aava’s medical emergency unit has a central location in Helsinki, right beside Kamppi shopping centre. You can seek emergency care when you need rapid treatment due to an acute illness or accident. Typical conditions treated at the emergency unit include:
- Burns and frostbite
- Accidents, such as falls and sports injuries
- Acute pain, such as pain in the ear, back or stomach
- Acute or suddenly aggravated infections
Patients of all ages from infants to seniors are welcome at our emergency unit. We could use an interpreter(mobile app). Price of this service is 45€.

Emergency care by appointment or without?
You can seek emergency care without appointment during our opening hours. If you wish to receive emergency care at a specific time, you can also make an appointment through our online appointment booking service or by calling our customer service at 010 380 3838.
Our emergency unit is open during the opening hours of Kamppi clinic.
When you arrive, you can come directly to the 2nd floor. The nurse on duty will register you and assess the need for care.
Our emergency unit provides a wide range of specialist consultation services and further treatment is always organised depending on the case. Further treatment can be carried out at Aava Kamppi clinic or in a public hospital.
Please note! Clients of the emergency unit have one-hour free parking at P-CityForum car park. You get a ticket when paying.
Payment methods and insurance
Emergency care is paid after the consultation in entrance hall downstairs.
Payment for urgent care is made after the visit. A financial commitment sent by the insurance company to Aava beforehand can be used to pay for the visit.
