Medical Examination for Recreational Pilots
Aava’s Aeromedical Center also provides the medical examinations required for recreational pilots in order to obtain a flight licence. The medical certificate may only be issued by an aeromedical examiner designated by Traficom.
When Do I Need a Medical Examination?
If you are applying for a glider pilot licence (SPL), a balloon pilot licence (BPL), or a light aircraft pilot licence (LAPL), you are required to undergo a medical examination in order to obtain a medical certificate.
Recreational pilots may also make use of other aviation-specialized professionals at Aava AeMC, such as the services of an aviation-specialized psychologist.
How Much Does a Recreational Pilot Medical Examination Cost?
You can find the current price for the recreational pilot medical examination in Aava’s price list.
