As a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology (MD, PhD), I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care for women of all ages. I offer routine gynecological care, perform gynecological ultrasound examinations, and am here to assist you with any acute gynecological concerns.
Intrauterine devices can be conveniently inserted or removed at my practice.

My particular areas of interest and expertise include the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, hormonal treatments (such as menopausal hormone therapy / HRT and hormonal contraception), and urogynecological problems.

Please note that I do not perform fetal screening ultrasounds.

My doctoral thesis at Helsinki University focused on the cancer risks among women treated with LNG-IUS or endometrial ablation. This research has deepened my understanding and expertise in these specific areas of women’s health.

Welcome to my practice with any gynecology, female health, or pregnancy and childbirth related issues!

I offer services and ultrasound examinations in any gynecological issues such as annual check-ups, acute problems (bleeding, infections, pregnancy related concerns) and family planning, including intrauterine devices and implants. I also offer prenatal and postnatal care, ultrasound examinations at all stages of pregnancy, as well as support and advice for any childbirth related concerns. I’m part of the Aava’s Young Women’s Services with special prices for women aged 15-25 (Nuorten Naisten Aava).

I speak native Finnish and fluent English.

I am a specialist and senior consultant in obstetrics, gynecology and perinatology. I also work in the women’s clinic of Helsinki University Hospital to ensure professional expertise and experience. I have a special interest in the onset of labor and induction of labor, in which I completed my PhD.

Hi! I graduated as a general practitioner in Turku university medical school in 2018. I’m currently specializing in obstetrics and gynaecology in Turku university hospital as my daytime job. I’m happy to treat patients of all ages comprehensively, my particular expertise is with gynaecological patients. My goal is to provide a warm, safe and welcoming environment for all my patients.

I care for women of all ages with a wide range of gynecological concerns and I am happy to offer my expertise on all aspects of women’s health. You are welcome to book an appointment for matters such as contraception, menstrual disorders, menopause, or acute gynecological problems.

I have a special interest in the treatment of endometriosis and I am part of the multidisciplinary Endometriosis Center at Aava. I also perform early pregnancy ultrasound examinations. In addition to my work at Aava, I work at HUS Women’s Hospital.
